Theme Parks
Sigean Game Reserve - La Réserve Africaine de Sigean is a massive wildlife park with nearly 4000 wild animals in an area covering more than 300 hectares making it possible to re-create the original habitat of each species.
Dinosaur and History of Man Museum, Meze (nr Pezenas). The region was a really big dinosaur area and many fossil discoveries have been made here. This outdoor museum is filled with life size dinosaur re-constructions with the added attraction of the History of Man Museum.
Aqualand Water Park, Cap d'Agde. The best known and largest water park in Europe, Aqualand offers an array of thrills and water attractions for the whole family. If you have smaller children, then the region offers 2 water parks aimed specifically at little ones aged 7 and under. Captain Jacko's in Cap d'Agde and Aquajet between Narbonne Plage and Gruissan provide mini water rides for the younger family members.
LunaPark and DinoPark are two of theme parks located in Cap d'Agde. Also nearby are countless other childrens attractions including minigolf, go-karting, an aquarium and much more.
The Little Yellow Train
The “Petit Train Jaune de la Cerdagne" runs along a 63km route, traversing 650 engineering masterpieces including 19 tunnels and 2 major bridges. It climbs steeply from Villefranche-de-Conflent to Bolquère and then crosses the plateau of the Cerdagne to Latour-de-Carol. Bolquere which is the highest station in France at 1593m. This is a must for boys (and dads & grandads ) who love trains!
Ice-skating & bowling
The Espace de Liberte in Narbonne is a large leisure complex offering ten-pin bowling, ice-skating, indoor leisure pool, outdoor Olympic sized pool with 85m water slide and a selection of cafes and restaurants.
